Discord has its own age requirements and safety controls. Younger players should follow local guardian rules and keep personal information private.
Verify the server before joining
Open the discovery page and compare the server name, description, member context, and connections with the official WCUE presence. Avoid search ads or link-shorteners. If a link redirects to a login page, check the domain is Discord before entering anything; safer still, open the Discord app directly and use the verified discovery destination.
Cloned servers may copy artwork and channel names. Identity depends on the official link path, not appearance alone. Do not join “staff support” servers sent through unsolicited direct messages.
Read the onboarding channels
Start with rules, announcements, verification instructions, role selection, and help or FAQ channels. Learn which channels permit roleplay recruiting, morph sharing, bug reports, or off-topic chat. Posting in the right place gets better answers and avoids accidental rule violations.
Use announcements as a status source
For codes, events, map returns, badges, and editor changes, record the post date and whether staff links to the game. A current announcement can confirm active status; an old pinned message may only preserve history. Cross-check the live experience when a feature should be visible.
Do not repost an undated screenshot as proof. Link the original permitted announcement or summarize it with its date. Staff may correct or replace details in later posts.
Find roleplay without oversharing
Use approved recruitment channels. State your time zone broadly, preferred style, session length, and desired role without sharing location, school, real name, or daily schedule. Move into the agreed Roblox experience through the official app.
Read community application rules before claiming leader, deputy, or medicine cat. A Discord roster can govern that private group’s story, but does not grant authority in unrelated public servers.
Recognize verification scams
A legitimate process should never ask for a Roblox password, browser cookie, email code, backup code, QR login, screen-control session, or executor. Be cautious of bots or people who DM immediately after joining. Verify staff through the server’s published role list and support channels.
Do not install a browser extension or paste JavaScript for “account verification.” If a process feels wrong, stop, ask in a public help channel, and report impersonation to Discord and Roblox as applicable.
Manage notifications and privacy
Mute channels you do not need and enable notifications only for important announcements. Limit direct messages from shared-server members if unwanted contact begins. Review who can add you as a friend and what account connections are public.
Keep disputes out of public roleplay channels. Use the server’s moderation path, preserve relevant message links, and block users when necessary. Do not organize harassment in response.
Leave or recover safely
If the server identity changes unexpectedly, verification asks for secrets, or content violates your boundaries, leave. You can revisit the official discovery page later. If your Discord account may be compromised, change credentials through Discord directly, review sessions, enable appropriate authentication, and do not rely on anyone claiming to be WCUE staff in a DM.
For in-game server selection, return to the servers hub. Discord coordination should lead back to the official Roblox experience, not to downloaded clients or copied games.
