Community WCUE references document ten commonly gathered medicine-cat items: moss, cobweb, borage, catmint, thyme, dock, yarrow, poppy, chervil, and juniper berries. Treat that as a field checklist, not a guaranteed current spawn table. Identify the live pickup label and Starpedia entry before announcing what your character found.

Common roleplay supplies often associated with bedding, carrying water, cleaning, or covering wounds. In-game effects and server lore need separate confirmation.

Useful gathering objectives that can support training scenes without requiring a severe patient emergency.

Discover herbs through the current interface
Walk rather than sprinting through likely gathering terrain so small objects and prompts remain visible. Approach the object, read its label, and use the current pickup control. Then open Starpedia to see whether the entry registered. Community documentation associates Starpedia with discovered plants, animals, and locations; menu position can change.
If the item cannot be picked up, check whether another object is already held, whether the prompt needs a closer angle, and whether the server is lagging. Do not assume every decorative plant is collectible.
Build an efficient gathering route
Choose three habitat types rather than one exact coordinate: camp-edge growth, water or damp ground, and open forest or field. Begin and end at a known landmark. Record which habitat produced which live label. Dynamic spawns mean a failed first pass does not prove the herb is absent from the experience.
Bring an apprentice or escort and give each player a job. One navigates, one searches near the path, and one remembers the return route. Keep the group small so pickup prompts and chat do not become confusing.
Use herbs in medicine-cat roleplay
Ask the patient what happened and what severity they want. Choose one simple treatment consistent with the current server’s lore, explain what your cat is attempting, and leave the response to the patient. Holding a herb does not enforce healing, sleep, pain, or any other outcome.
If the correct herb is disputed, consult current Starpedia text or the group’s posted guide. You can turn uncertainty into play by asking a mentor or testing recognition—not by declaring that another player is wrong. The medicine cat guide provides a full consent-based treatment flow.
Organize a herb lesson
Start with two visually different items. Let the learner describe color, shape, habitat, or label. Ask where they would search next and why. End by returning the supplies to a den or patient. A short lesson that includes travel and a choice is easier to remember than reciting ten names in camp.
Do not force a quiz or humiliation scene. A player may be new to WCUE even when their character is experienced. Separate out-of-character interface help from in-character knowledge.
Use the video for visual orientation only. Exact paths, models, and spawns may differ in the current build.
Troubleshoot missing herbs
Confirm you are in the regular Forest Territory or the intended current map, not an archived event context. Search around the habitat rather than one screenshot coordinate. Wait for normal server activity, change route, and revisit later. If an update recently landed, check official announcements for collection changes.
If an entry appears in Starpedia but not the world, it may be rare, seasonal, moved, or already collected nearby. Mark the location as needing a live check instead of inventing a fixed spawn.
Evidence and update boundary
The ten-item list, gathering behavior, and Starpedia relationship are community documented and were checked on 2026-08-26. Exact models, habitats, spawn rates, controls, inventory behavior, and fictional effects require live confirmation. Historical Warriors lore does not necessarily equal a programmed WCUE mechanic.
